This progressive, multi-week beginner Salsa class will start from the very basics. Together with your classmates, you will gradually add new material and moves, growing into a more knowledgeable and technically confident dancer.

Fall classes run Thursdays September 8 - 29 and October 6 - 27 from 7:30-9:00 in the Salloum Studio. Lessons will run from 7:30-8:30 PM, and from 8:30-9:00 PM, students will have time to practice and free dance with students from the Intermediate class that immediately precedes this class.

Pre-register online or at the box office. Drop-in fees are $20 (cash only) on the day of the session. The instructor will take cash.

About the Instructor
Gurkan Ulgey fell in love with dancing during his first Salsa and Bachata lessons in 2011. Since 2012, he has taught, trained, competed, and performed in Turkey, USA, and now Canada, training with some world-famous instructors along the way. His main focus is social-dancing, hence his focus on technicality and clarity of leading and following.
